anyone know what this is?
When Im driving my car at slow speed and I hit a small bump, I get a noise from the rear of the car. It sound to me like keys rattling, its not real loud but I notice it. I have no idea what it could be.
The car is completely stock, 146k miles.

I used to have an 88 Iroc that would do the same thing. Im guessing you have disc brakes. What it is when you do not have brakes applied your brake pads in back are loose ( check with your finger when car is parked) causeing them to jiggle around. Im not sure how to fix it but i guarentee you your brakes in the rear dont work, jack up the rear of you car put it in drive and hold the brake as hard as you can i bet your cant make the wheel stop moving. The only way i know to fix this is get new calipers and pads, possibly only new pads might fix it. Or get some of a 1Le car 91-92 Let us know what you find out.

I've had rear end noise from missing sway bar end-link bushigns that rotted out. I've had noise from loose LCA bolts (most annoying rattle). And also from the top shock mounts behind the rear seat. And, to be completely safe, pull off your center-cap cover to make sure you did not shave a stud bolt or have a loose lug-nut (had that happen too).

Well its been CRAZY. I got married and moved to OH. Havent had any time to do anything to the car but change the oil, I actually almost gave in and took it to Vavoline, SHHH dont tell her.
I dont have any access to the internet, not even 56k yet. Its devistating to someone who was online 3hrs a day after work, I used to think I would die if i ever went back to 56k from my cable modem, now I am dreaming of 56k..lol
Started school and am learning everything about A/C right now. its great, I will check all of the above when I get into my suspension class.

It's probably the end-links. Two of mine were broken, causing lots of noise and one hell of a swaying car around turns. Wheee!!
Anyway, I replaced all four with Prothanes, and the noise is gone and I don't feel like I'm about to tip the car over when turning.
