Koni Spec D's are adjustable. Mine have a decal on the side showing how to adjust them. Very easy to do. Pull down the dust boot and you'll see a button, hold it down, then turn the shaft clockwise to 1 of 3 firmness settings.

and that's exactly the problem I had with mine... no significant difference when you adjust them. I wanted a stiffer, more easily adjustable shock so I went with the KYB AGX's. As a gas/hydraulic- The 'Special D' is more of a performance shock with a softer ride. I've never heard of anyone using these for drag racing.

When you adjust them, I believe you have to bottom out the piston, push the button, then turn the shaft.

thanks for the help they are on the car an they are not drag shocks this is the first time I have bought anything off ebay without really knowing what I was getting need to be more careful they work fine on the softest setting, hard to believe thier any better then what I took off they really didn't have any more com resistance than what I took off. but on the car big diferance my rear shocks were gone bottoming out on everything. I will adjust another day an see what happens. seems to be what I would expect so far just a nice ride. new shox have a way of giving you that new car ride back
