clunk with sphon torqe arm

I am having trouble getting the torque arm to stop clunking the front mount is where it is clunking but i am afriad to over tighten it. Should the front mount be able to move freely? or seem solid?

Thanks
Dave

Do you have the spherical rod end or poly front mount? I ended up dumping my solid front mount and going to the bushing because of that clunk. Once I installed the poly bushing, no more clunk and about 50% less road noise as well.

Unless you are going to use your car as a strip car only, I would go with the poly mount...

well the front mount is suppose to be snug, it needs to move freely.
