Earls brake hoses

Anyone know if or where I can get Earls brand brake hoses in Canada, besides from the internet?

also... another question about the hoses for you guys.. im about to replace my stock ones..

1 will i even notice the improvement with the stock brakes?

2 as a owner of a car with them in your car, whats your personal opinon: was it worth the money? stock ones are about $6 each

3 whats this i hear about them breaking? i assume its from people hanging the caliper by them and not by the line pressure, correct?

Yes you will notice an improvement with stock brakes. Everyone that's put them on will tell you that.

Are they worth it? Well my lines were 16 years old. I didn't want to continue risking my life on old brake lines. So yes, they are definately worth it in my humble opinion.

Even after I modified my earl's lines for the Wilwood calipers I'm running they still seal and work well for me.

The only ones I've heard of breaking are russell lines. I'm sure someone will post and let you know if they have broken an earl's line, but I sure like mine.

i'll rephrase, are they worth it compared to replacing them with regular stock replacement lines?

i know on my motorcycle there is a diff you can feel with the stainless line, but i didnt know if the same feedback would transfer back on the camaro....

YES, i think so. they made my car stop faster with disc/drums, then factory 4 wheel disc setups. i wasnt gonna spend $35+ on new rubber lines when earl's aren't that much more....now i worry about people behind me stopping in time

Unfortunately Lordco doesn't carry Earl's. My brother worked there up until August and I got a real good deal on parts. But I'll give Mopac a try, thanks.

edit: Ah, from Kelowna. We can start a club.

They might not keep Earl's stuff in stock, but they can order it in.

Apeiron: Maybe my brother wouldn't order them for me because I wouldn't get a deal on them, since I don't think Lordco is an actual supplier. But I'll check to see if Lordco or Mopac will order them for me. Thanks again.

Anything's better then the original hoses!! Anyone reading this: if you haven't changed those old hoses out yet, do it tomorrow, with any hose- rubber or stainless steel. Ever seen an exploded brake hose? I have- on my dad's car; it blew on him while he was driving. Then I checked my hoses- Mine was ready to blow- and I had replaced them already back in '96.
