WOW! what a difference...

After the long wait to receive all my suspension parts, and send back the wrong rear shocks they sent me to be replaced with the new ones...my car is AMAZING! I have never been in a car that has stuck to the road like mine, when I went to a parking lot, going about 20-25, and making sharp left right turns, the car actually stayed parallel to the ground, it didn't dip from one side to another, i can make quick turns onto roads, without slowing down, worrying about my car tipping to one side. The railroad tracks...its like they're not even there, it's a much stiffer ride over all, and the car doesn't feel...even more importantly sound like its going to break into pieces... so for those of you who are curious here's what has been done to acheive this great ride.

-Energy Suspension Control Arm Bushing Sets
-NAPA Ball Joints, Tie Rods, & Idle Arm
-TDS Sway Bar Bushings 34mm front, 23mm rear
-KYB Gas-A-Just Shocks & GR-2 Gas Struts
-Eibach Pro-Kit Springs
-Spohn Upper Strut Mounts & SFCs
-Edelbrock Strut Tower Brace
-MOOG Centerlink
-Coleman Racing Jam Nuts

TOTALING $1,470.66 Well worth it

For those of you saying, wow, that is a lot, and you didn't need all new parts, I know that, but I dont want to risk buying used springs and such, It is worth the cost of knowing you got your stuff new. Also contributing to my new ride is my brakes were all re-done with brand new rotors, calipers, pads for the front, as well as new drums for the rear. What's next...maybe some engine work, the car has 83,000miles...but that's for another board. I appreciate all those who have helped me through the process of all this stuff, I knew nothing, and now I know something...I can't thank you enough.

Woohoo! Good to see progress in action. Just an aside, but the upper strut mounts on Spohn's site are from Moog. Spohn doesn't make any.

I'd say you are mis-informed!!

Well not completely mis-informed. I manufacture them and Spohn sells them along with my big brake kits.

alloy, you bastard, i know YOU make them. But I'm talking about the other ones that are on the site. I emailed Steve about it a while ago, he told me they're Moogs and they don't make any.

Unless... YOU'RE ON THEIR PAYROLL?!

You'll never catch me saying that!! Glad to hear the upgrade went well! Your "after" results were like mine- the car rode better over bumps.

Kinda goes with what I've been saying here for a while... if someone thinks their ride is rough without poly and will be rougher after poly, they're wrong... their ride is rough because with all their worn-out parts, their car is "falling into" bumps, rather then gliding "over" them.
