Lakewood Coil Spring Traction Bars

Has any one out ever used these? Are they worth it? Do they work as advertized? Did you actualy get added traction that was noticable? Etc. Etc. Etc.

I've NOT heard good things at all about these in particular. Not that traction bars are not a good thing, but the Lakewoods seem to have a tendency to break/malfxn. Wish I could rec a better brand, but I've not looked into these. I'd prob sugegst ditching that idea and snagging a nice Adjustable Torqure Arm from Spohn:
