Changing Outer Tie Rods..

Hi, I'm about to tackle my outer tie rods. I'm just looking for any advice about what i should be aware of, maybe some good procedures, or what i SHOULDN'T do. Any advice could help me greatly! Thanks guys

Axle/Gears: 3.42s
Torque them down properly(castle nuts) and make sure you have the proper sized cotter pins handy. Never reuse them. If you don't have a toe bar I'd also suggest an alignment after for toe.

Put some lube on the joint studs before you slip the studs into the knuckle- that's outta the GM Service Manual. Might be a good time to switch to synthetic grease if you haven't already...
