Prothane or Energy Suspension?

Which is better and why? I am looking at getting engine and tranny mounts right now, but will soon be replacing all bushings with some type of poly. Which should I go with? I have heard prothane doesn't squeek and fits a little better. Is this true?

i got my prothane tranny mount from spohn, nice directions and easy install, nice and solid with no extra plates to worry about, if i had the chance of would buy their engine mounts also, i am not worried aobut alittle vibration i like a nice solid feel to the car.

I just changed all my front bushings to Energy Suspension ones, no squeaks yet. Just make sure you lube them up with the included packets of grease.

I think both brands are probably equal in quality... ES is the more popular name, which is why, I think, Prothane is cheaper. For example, Summit always carried ES, but only started carrying Prothane 3 or 4 years ago. 3 or 4 years ago, the only other spot I saw Prothane bushings was in the JCWhitney catalog!

I'll probably buy the prothane kit from summit since spohn doesn't like to return anyone's emails.

I just replied to your email for the 3rd time. It keeps bouncing back. Just an FYI. I answer email promptly, but if it bounces back, what can I do?

Sorry Steve. I have no idea why it's doing that. My computer has been screwy lately. I'm gonna restart my computer right now. If it does it again, If it's not too much trouble, could you pm me with the info. I was really needing this because I'm going to order everything thursday.

Thanks,
Brandon

I guess the restart worked. I got the mail. Thanks for the info. I will most likely purchase everything from you. One question though, how how much does a tool to measure my sway bars cost?

EDIT: Also, obviously you chose the prothane over ES. Just wondering what your reasons were?

Digital Caliper for $19.99 (good tool to have)

Prothane's quality far exceeds ES' (my opinion of course)
