Do tires have a shelf life?
Im gonna get some Goodyear F1s and I was thinking about buying 4 (since it's cheaper to buy tires in 4s) and put 2 on the back now, and a year down the road I have another 2 when I wear these out. Will the tire not keep or if I store them in a dry dehumidified part of my house will they be fine? Just wondering.

i ways reading a little tech tip when storing tires from book 1000 tech hints or something and the guy said when storing slicks for a while lube them up with a good tire silicon and wrap them up in a large garbage back. this will keep the from getting hard and "dryrotting" or cracking. hope that helps.

Ehhh....I'll just buy 2 then....at almost 150$ a piece....not worth it....I don't know how long I should expect them to last....I only drove like 5000 miles last year....so I have no idea how long those F1s are gonna last me....traction and treadlife don't mix....if they are gonna last me a while I wouldn't want them sitting....
