Tire?

I have 245 50 16s all the way around my car right now and want to put tires on that are about half an inch thinner. I have a very slight rubbing problem on the front and I figure it can be taken care of by a slightly smaller size tire up front. I am keeping the 245 50s on the rear so I want something with the same diameter and stuff just a little less wide. I wondering what all sizes you guys are running and what ones youd suggest for me.

no everything is pretty tight. its not a major rub only when I put the car in an extreme angle and turn the wheel the whole way to the left lock.

I dont know I want the skinnier tire for more than that reason though like a more agressive look, less rotating mass on the front end, possability of a cheaper tire, the list goes on. I was just wondering if anyone had anything like this on their car or could help me out with some tire sizes that would work for me.

I use 255/55/R16 up front... it didn't help too much, but I have sever rubbing, but they work. I wouldn't go any thinner than that on 8" wide wheels. They actually come out to be 0.10 taller than 245/50/R16. Not that anyone can notice, even with a ruler.
