Anybody ever bend a panhard bar?
I did. I have no idea how, all I know is that my exhaust was banging off of something, and being a bolt on kit, I figured it wiggled itself loose. But no, it's a hair away from the panhard bar. Being the stock stamped peice, do you guys think it would be safe to pull it off and pound it back into shape? Also, do I need the suspension under load to remove that?

Mine PHR was bent when I got my car. I think it had been hit pretty good in the pass. rear wheel area.
I wouldn't recommend bending the stocker back into shape, the thing is flimsy enough to start with and a tubular replacement comes in under $100.

Yes. I curbed my car, at about 2 mph, on black ice, from the crown of the road in a parking lot. Didn't even scratch the wheel, yet was enough to bend the PHR. These things are amazingly flimsy.
Don't bother trying to straighten it. It's garbage. Get another one.

Yeah I only meant to bend it for temporary purposes. At the end of the month, I think I'm gonna pick up the Sophn one. It's 85 bucks plus an extra 10 for new hardware. Not a bad deal at all.
I never realized it was that flimsy, I bet I messed it up myself somewhere along the way.
