You like to drive fast? theyn Koni Yellows are the best out of the box strut you can buy for these cars. You want to impress a date? then stick with nothing more than a KYB.

I have Koni Yellows with an Eibach Prokit and a lot of other suspension mods on an 83TA.
I don't have another performance shock to compare with but the Konis work really well on my car. I ran it in an autox and also on a road course and I'm really pleased with the results.
When I was researching which shocks to get I read a lot of stuff where people said Koni Yellows were too harsh. I havn't found that to be the case for my preferences at least.

when i last took my car to the shop to get the lower ball joint and strut replaced (both on right side) i found out that i have sensatracs (argh!!) in the front and *** knows what in the rear. i thought mcpherson shocks and struts came on the GTA? correct me if i'm wrong, but that can't be delivering the same results as my WS6 was ment to perform.

macpherson is the design of the front struts that's on the car - so the Koni fronts for example are still a macpherson style strut - the rears are just a standard shock design allowing of course for different manufacturer's ideas on which is better internal design for a given shock
some or maybe all of the irocs came with bilsteins but i'm not sure what your car would have had on it from the factory.
