I'll also be posting this over with the drivetrain board but I was thinking to myself and wondering if i need to change the brakes from drum to disc if i put in a posi from my stock 10-bolt.

Also, would it be easier to do then or would there be any benefits (other than having the disc brakes) to doing both swaps together?

 

having disk brakes would be a good idea and i would install them at around the same time for convience.

so:

you done need to change the brakes from drum to disk to have posi.

and you could install the posi first and then change the brakes from drum to disk later on

but i would just do both.

 

thanks for the suggestion. once i get the cash saved up i think i'll do just that, get the posi and do the brakes.
