Locked brakes
Okay, i have an iroc that sat for a loooong time and now the brakes are seized, the car will move, and once you get it going, it's driveable, but when starting to move its quite obvious the brakes are stuck in place, i was just wondering what the best way would be to loosen them up... ty

the BEST way?
new calipers are about $12 each... for the fronts atleast, i donno the rears... if its too $$ for the rears, jsut rebuild them..
get new brake hoses.. the rubber flex hose...
turn or replace the rotors
new pads or if the old ones are still good, rough them up with some sandpaper on a flat board...
inspect and repack the wheelbearings (replace if you can)
bleed everything until its clean and clear with new fluid.
that would be the best way.

I had the same problem with my friends 74 nova. Damn thing wouldnt move at all. We hit it with some PB Blaster (kinda like WD-40 on steroids) and it loosened right up. Now im not sure thats very good for your car, personally id get in there and replace everything. Its just a quick fix...
And where are you finding calipers for $12??? Even the boneyards around here want like $25
