squeeky chassis

Going over bumps or hard banks the rear end makes all kind of noises, or so i am assuming that is where the noise comes from - it certainl sounds so.

I believe that sub-frame connectors are the thing to get to fix this, is this so? I was thinking of getting a pair of these and a strut-tower brace to tie the ends up cheaply.

Who or what brands should i stay away from?

i'm betting it is the bushings somewhere back there. you should start by checking the condition of those.
