I want to fab some subframe connectors for my car and was wondering if anyone has done this and if anyone could post some pics so i can get an idea of how to make them.

I used to ask to see pics so I could build them myself, seeing how I'm a fabricator. But all the pics I seen made me ask more questions. Then I crawled under the Z and had a look. Keeping in mind what the task at hand is, conecting the subframes together, it became obvious to me what to do. I wouldnt suggest buying them, get creative and just make em.

here is a pic of my spohn's. the straight one is the drivers side and the curved one is the passenger side. from the angle of the picture, you are looking at them from front to back. sorry, i dont have any measurements, just that the shoe is a size 11 puma! hope this helps.
I have those exact spohn SFC's installed. They slip right in and are very concealable. The welder who installed them for me did make a comment about the lack of a larger foot print at the front sub frame. Other SFC's often seem to have a pad to give a larger foot print for greater welding area. So why do Spohn SFC's have a smaller foot print at the front sub frame than other SFC's? Does this even matter?

the idea isnt to connect the subframes.
the idea is to stiffin the car's chassis.
thats why perimeter style connectors are soo much more effective then the MAC type... yet they bearly attach to the subframe while the MACs weld between the two.
