Rear Discs
Hi all. I have finished the front brake rebuild...(easy).
But I have never re-done a rear disc rebuild. My Hayes repair manual only list info for rear drums. Other than removing the tire(obvious)
how do the rotors come off th have them turned or replace?
Thanks

Gotta take the calipers off first guys. Take the rear calipers off and pull straight out on the rotor, it should come right off. If not, soak the area around the center of the axle with penetrant for a while, then get a BFH and a piece of wood and beat it until the rotor comes off.

Thanks Ed!!!
Thanks just what I was looking for. I hope my post didn't sound too snobbish(not intended). This would by my 1st time replacing any kind of rear disc. Thanks for sharing!
