Do LCA brackets need to be welded?

I made up a set of these and wanted to ask maybe a silly question but do they really need to be welded in place?

If i have a bolt going through brakcet and the original mounting holes this will hold the bracket in place. Then when I attach the LCA it can't really move anywhere as the LCA is steel and is fixed length so it can't go forwared. WHen you take off it might get pused back but the bolt should hold it in place?

Or am I talking out of my a$$? Someone enlighten me.

you need to weld it, it's just pivot on the bolt

The only real way to do it right is to weld it. Its useless if you don't.

I have a bolt on

it solid like a rock. I dont really see the need unless you have a high HP car. it uses the large bolt on the bottom and shock mounting bolt. But its your call

I fabricated one of the welding type ones and not a bolt on one. Just wanted to ask if they could be just left un welded. Okay guys the message is clear
