Changing Brake Hoses on Cavalier??
Changing Brake Hoses on Cavalier??
OK, I know it's a bit offtopic, but this seems like the best place to ask.
I need to change the rubber front brake hoses on a 92 Cavalier. Anyone know the steps (It's not my car, so I don't want to have to get a manual for it)?
On the hoses I bought, they have a metal bracket attached to the hose. Now - is the bolt securing this metal bracket a torx bolt? Do you know what size of torx bit I would need?
Right now, it looks like all I need are some flare nut wrenches and whatever I need to take off that bolt - and since I only have torx bit's upto T40, I don't want to run into problems and have to run to the store in the middle of the job.....
