Proper way to put car on stands

I want to put my car on jack stands since I have alot of work to do to it underneath (oil, transmission, brakes, etc.)

What is the best location to where the jack stands should be positioned under the car for a long term lift? Any pics would be helpful for proper jack location and stand location.

Thanks alot. it is an 86 TA

If you have subframe connecotrs, put it on there. If you don't, put it on the frame... just make sure the position is solid.

put jack stands under the rear end and then use drive up ramps under the front tires, or use block of wood under the car , i put them right where the lca fastens to the car and then put blocks infront and behind the front tires so the car wouldnt move.
