Are you asking about torque at the axle (i.e. launch on nitrous with slicks) or torquing the lugnuts? We recommend our adapters get torqued to 85 ft-lbs with anti-seize, and after 5 miles, re-torqued the first time they were installed on a vehicle. As for durability, they are stronger than your hub on the 10 bolt rear end. I've snapped axles, and actually torn a 1LE driveshaft in half with the adapters on the rear (twin turbo '89 Camaro, 3700 lbs, drag radials, and T56 w/ Street Twin), and the adapters have never shown any sign of stress. We also have Grand National guys running them, as well as 4x4 rock crawlers with 44" tires, and no problems. I'm not sure if the other folks have had their adapters tested... I hope this helps!

I should have a pic of 10-spoke SS wheels on a GTA as soon as my tax return gets back

I don't have 10 spokes, but I do have the 5 spoke wheels.

The adapters will take all the abuse you throw at them. Not just at the track, but daily driving as well. I've had my Skutle adapters for nearly a little over 2 years now, and never had any problems. I drive the car hard on the street (with DR's) and make the occassional track pass so it's not babied
