Brake pads

i need some descent brake pads for my 90 firebird, the breaks on it now dont stop like i want it to and im a tight budget so im not planning on getting a kit. any ideas for the front break pads?

I got mine from a local place, mostly CA based but they will ship if you can't find the pads locally. They can be found at several places, but these guys were the least expensive that I found.

I think they're great, a huge improvement over the Performance friction carbon metallics that I was using before. Many here are happy with the Bendix pads.

First do a search on pads.

Third Install Stainless steel brake lines. (Jegs or Summitt)

I just got through doing all this research--gave up on the high dollar calipers (couldn't afford them)--got 4 recon calipers from Napa--Hawk Pads--Drill/Slot Rotors (Ebay)--SS lines--Wilwood adj. proportioning valve (not installed yet)

I'M HAPPY!
