KYB AGX street/strip settings
Having just finished completely redoing the suspension (see sig below) Iwas wondering what other people that are using KYB AGX shocks and struts have them set on for everyday driving?
What would be the best settings for both front and rear for the strip?
I have done several searches and spent several hours reading, but can't seem to find the answers to this question. I did find a post with the following excellent info, but still wondering what others are doing!
For the 4 position adjustment ****:
#1 position is same as factory or 100
#2 position is same as GR2 or 115
#3 position is 50% firmer than #2 or 172
#4 position is 30% firmer than #3 or 223
For the 8 position adjustment ****:
#1 position is 5% softer than factory or 95
#2 position is same as factory or 100
#3 position is 7.5% firmer than factory or 107.5
#4 position is 15% firmer than factory or 115
#5 position is 43.5% firmer than factory or 143.5
#6 position is 72% firmer than factory or 172
#7 position is 97.5% firmer than factory or 197.5
#8 position is 123% firmer than factory or 223

Can anybody tell me if I would want to set the shocks/struts on the softest or hardest for the strip?
It would seem since 90/10's are the desired front shocks on drag cars, you would want to set the front on the softest for max rebound/extension for max weight transfer?
What about the rear? unless I have fallen behind in technology (what little I knew to begin with) if a 50/50 shock for the rear is still the hot ticket--do U want a stiff or soft rear shock--seems like some experianced drag racers could tell me if you want a soft or hard shock on the rear.

If you decide to buy a set don't get them from jeg's or summitracing.
I say this because I work at advance and we can order them in. They may cost a hair more (barely if any more) BUT you get a lifetime warranty through advance. That makes it work a couple extra bucks to me.
We also sell the GR-2 and gas adjusts...with a lifetime warranty.
