Alston racing SFC's
Hi everyone, I have just recently purchased these and have run into a problem on the passenger side of the car. It appears that the sub frame connector will hit my hooker cat back 3" piping and the cat itself. If anyone has had experiences with these please share yours. I haven't got to intstall anything yet. I have just removed the brake lines and the intermediate pipe. I am just wondering if there is anything special I have to do to make the passenger side SFC clear everything ok? It seems very tight!
Any info is greatly appreciated,
Tony

I had my SFCs installed by a shop who did not tell me that my catback (hooker) hit the Alstons. So now I'm stuck with a clunking noise every so often under hard acceleration or hard shifting when my exhaust hits the passenger side SFC.
Hope you can find a solution - there's no un-welding SFCs.

Alston Racing SFCs are made to work with the stock factory exhaust. The passenger side has a huge bend/angle to it so that it tucks up nice and close to the floorboard. It will snake it's way between the y-pipe/cats and the floorboard. I had mine installed like 7 years ago and they worked great with my dual cat setup (when I had the dual cat setup).
