Wierd noise comming from the rear

I drive the car.. and when I go in the driveway, theres a part
thats slightly more elevated then the street, right ?

So when I do that, theres a noise comming from what seems to be the rear window .. Anytime the car has to climb anything (normal elevations), theres that noise like if there is a stress area in the rear end somewhere..

It kinda spooks me out.. I dont know what causes it.. I know the car has been out during winters before buying it.. just hope its nothing serious.

Tnx

check your sway bar linkage. mine did the same thing when i turned into a driveway and made a loud thud sound. turned out the nut on the bolt was nearly off which allowed the bar itself to move up and down about 4 inches. hope this helps.

While you are under there...check every single nut and bolt. I just found my Panhard Rod bolt loose. If everything is nice and tight then you might have a bad shock.

Change any parts recently?

one other thing, while you got it up check the tranny mount for wear. not related to to the other problem but they are notorious for going bad in our cars. just a lil early prevention. like chickenman said, check everything.

This could just be the sound of the body flexing. Our cars are notorious for not being real rigid and they also tend to "loosen-up" with age. When going up driveways at an angle they tend to creak and groan. A set of SFC's (sub-frame connectors) should help alieviate the problem.
