What is that wire for????

Does anyone know what that one single wire is that runs to the sensor located on the brake distribution block right below the master cylinder. I'm wondering, why is it there??? Please someone has to know, and no its not for any ABS garbage, so don't try it. Does it really need to be there since my computer has long been gone about 6 years ago. This is on a 92RS. If it serves no purpose, consider that wire snipped!

I hope you don't mean the one that says BRAKE in red??? That comes on when the e-brake handle is pulled up. I don't have a stock cluster anymore so i never see that light. Ok anyone else know what it is for??

it's called a pressure differential switch, and as mentioned it will turn on the brake light in the dash if it senses a hydralic problem in the brake system.

Ok, thanks. I didn't think there was more than one way that light would come on. I'm sorry
