body/chassis flex test
I was driving my Camaro around a few weeks ago and noticed just how much flex there is. I had my finger between the front T-Top latch and the A-pillar and just driving down the road you could feel it flex and compress quite a bit. I'm sure most of you have probably noticed that before but it goes to show you just how much flex there is... Time for SFC's... Won't solve the t-top flex probably but will at rigidity.

you'll be surprised when you put subframe connectors on..
the cars rigidity will be apparent when you jack it up (won't sag as much or at all) also when I go up a steep driveway at an angle the inside rear tire will come completely off the ground because the chassis is so stiff..

yea its scary, last time I jacked up my car the t-tops were making noise, this is on a completly rust free car too, I cant imagine how much my 83 flexed, it was wicked rusty. I cant wait to get the subframes, I feel like Im causing damage to my car by driving without them.

Can't wait to put my connectors in
I am actually in the process of installing my SFCs. Picked up the Alstons from TDS and need to hurry up and finish the job (I want to take it out for a ride).
I decided to get them after noticing a little t-top noise.
Also seemed like a good time to POR-15 the floor.
I'd post a pic of my progress, but I do not have a digital camera.

Their in... sfc's and the wonderbar made quite a difference in the way the car feels. Lot less noise, too. Now just to find someone to weld them in for me.

I was also amazed at the difference the SFCs made in handling and flex. I used to drive over tracks and the car would go over it like rubber..flexing over the bumps. Now it jumps in the air when a bump is hit instead of flexing.
