brake problems...
hyei just got done putting a 350 in my z28 a few days ago. when i was installing the engine i broke the front passenger brake line. i fixed this line and when i went to bleed it, i cannot get any fluid to come out of the bleeder valve. i even took the bleeder valve right out and no fluid comes out. when i take the cover off the master cylinder and push the brake pedal, the fluid bubbles up inside the master cylinder. its almost like the brake fluid is going the wrong way, back out the top. Is this normal when the covers off to do this? when i had my engine out i also had the 2 lines unhooked from the master cylinder, that go to the proportioning valve. could this have gotten air trapped in the master cylinder? thanks any info would help.
By the way my brakes feel very spongy when the car is running and i almost have to bottom out the pedal to stop the car. when the cars off the brakes stiffen up as i pump them, so i know the lines arent leaking. thanks alot for any info

The fluid always comes out the top when the lid is off - it will actually squirt a stream. Like changing the diaper on your son - always keep it covered! lol
I'm no expert - but my thought was - you have to "bench bleed" the master cylinder when you put a new one on. Maybe that needs done to yours.
