A friend of mine swears by KVR rotors and Green Stuff pads as a good combo for not a lot of money. Anyone have any experience with KVR rotors?

I've never used KVR rotors, but I have used their brake pads. Back in like '99 or '00, they cost me $48 PLUS shipping from Canada. I couldn't find a U.S. dealer for KVR so I called them directly.
The pads were good, but it's far easier just to buy Performance Friction, Hawk or EBC pads here in the U.S. Pep Boys now carries Hawk and EBC.
As for rotors, I'd stay local as well and go with AutoSpecialty or a similar brand. I ran Autospecialty cross-drilled rotors before switching over to my 1LE brakes and they were good. Price was like $71 each.
