I have Pro kit and Tokico illuminas on and wow is it a great improvement over my stock suspension!! My old stuff was so beat that the rear axle tube was hitting exhaust pipe and dented it slightly
The car looks and feels great. Its a little stiff but its suppose to be that way. Its an IROC!
Install was fairly straight forward but I ended up getting an adjustable panhard bar cuz the rear kicked out 1 inch.
It fixed it though. Now I have little traction. Next is control arms and relocate brackets. They should help I hope.
man, this car is a money pit. I didnt think lowering would cost so much with control arms and panhard bar, a lesson learned to all planning on lowering. But best to build it from the ground up!

That's pretty far. Typically after lowering, the rear will shift about 1/4". I've got a 1.5" to 2" drop with my Jamex springs and my rear end moved just about 1/4". Tom K's car was similar using Jamex springs. You should've seen the same with your Eibachs.

Well it was about an inch. I didnt take any measurements of that type (distance inside from fender to wheel) but just wheel gap and height of car off the ground before and after install.
All I can say is that it was very noticeable to me after the car was on the ground. From the fender lip to the tire, there was a difference of one inch from the driver side to the passenger side. It was almost poking out under the lip while the other side was well under the lip. It was weird. So i got the adjustable panhard bar and it evened out the car.
Oh i forgot that the spring on front drivers side and rear spring wasnt indexed right at first so the car sat like an S-10. Maybe that affected it?
But everything is squared away now.

pogo process starts?
what's that?
Wheel hop?
I had the stuff on for a month now and no problems except loss of traction, but no wheel hop.

pogo is a generic term relating to the cars reaction as it is driven. much to the effect of a child on a pogo stick or as more commonly seen on vehicles that have had their springs cut and the shocks/struts aren't valved right to compensate.
in otherwords you'll know when it starts to "pogo" you'll feel as if you need a new suspension again. with kyb, monroe, gabriel, etc. it doesn't take much more then a few thousand miles to start and by roughly 20,000 they are completely shot. i have yet to run a tokico though so i have no idea how long they last..

Wow, that sucks.
Short life span I hope not. Those shocks are expensive. Bilstein, Koni, and Tokico shocks are the best out there. There quality should last long, heck they have lifetime guarentee.
My car only has less than 2000 miles on it since install and shocks are set stiff out back and medium up front to help with drag launches.
Sorry no pictures of it currently but I will try to get some. It looks sweet lowered but I hate lack of ground clearance
lol
I had a rabbit cross in front of me and go under the middle of the car-- no wheels hit it. The airdam and/or exhaust pipes hit it. Oh, well the price you pay for the look and performance

just wait until you get to experiance the ultra embarising moment of getting your car high centered trying to get out of a driveway, at a rather expensive resraunt, with a very nice looking girl you are trying to impress, in the passanger seat, asking why you aren't pulling out into traffic.
