First, I went with the 1LE upgrade on the front. Mainly because of wanting to retain my crosslace wheel. I would have used the LS1 set-up but I do not like using spacers. I would like to utilize the LS1 setup on the rear though. I like the parking brake design. Any input is appreciated.
Also, who is the best vendor for LS1 pieces-parts? Has anyone done any business with GMParts Direct? TIA.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have checked out all the tech articles, in fact the latest one for the LS1 upgrade with the part #s is what got me interested in doing the LS1 vs 1LE. Guess I wanted some input on reliable parts sources and availability since I was planning on new parts. Should have been more specific.

 

www.rockauto.com has good prices and isnt a rip on shipping like gmpartsdirect. good customer service too. i ordered rear wheel bearings, but only got 1 amongst lots of other stuff. sent them an email and 2 days later there was another one on my door step
