Advertised drop VS. actual drop

See everythign on the springs but never saw anything on what a certain spring actually dropped it. So basically dropzone offers a 1.75" drop i was looking at these did you get a 1" drop or full 1.75" or whatever. Just wanted to see how different brands dropped as advertised and what didnt before i order mine.

the thing with that is, most of the springs were vs. a brand new stock spring. so over time you stock springs may have weakened and dropped the car .75", so when you put the 1.75" advertised springs in, you would only see a 1" drop

So true - it's that scary moment when a cars (sagging) stock springs are replaced with new stock replacements and the car lifts by 0.5-1.0inch! Also, I believe some of the spring manufacturers list the drop as compared to the base model springs. And IIRC the IROC's/GTA's are slightly lower anyway.

But by rights most of our cars "should" be sagged about the same there will be some difference but i imagine a 91 rs next to mine should be close to the same height after all the years. Granted driver weight, weight of the car will change the measurement but i think it would be close.

Whens that air ride gonna be done kandied thats really what i want.
