Rear Coil Spring Part #
I read a lot of people suggesting using a Moog 5665 spring on the rear of a 1992 camaro. All of the parts books list a CC635 variable rate spring. What is the 5665 intended for? What is the difference between the two springs? Thanks

What parts books are you referring to? I believe that one set of moogs are a linear rate spring and the other are the "cargo springs" that is a progressive spring that increases the rear ride height.

Coil spring part number
I found the part number on the web site for Advance Auto Parts, Autozone, O'reilly's and Federal Mogul (Moog).
I think the ones I got were the progressive or "cargo" type springs. I think they were listed as variable rate or "hef-t coil" type. I like the replacement springs better than the NNL code Iroc springs I had in the rear. Then moog springs are actually stiffer and have a better ride height too.
