You don't want to use lift bars. Just get a set of LCA's and the relocation brackets and you will be fine.

Why wouldn't he want lift bars? Why not beef up the lift bars alittle and pitch the torque arm?

What's the problem with doing that? I'm not trying to be a smarta** just curious cause I was thinking of going with that setup myself.

Actually that set-up s really nice and would work great. I was refering to the old school style lift bars that actually do more harm than good on our cars. What you have linked there is like relocation brackets with an adjustable LCA. Looks really good.

Thats not quite just a LCARLB an adjustable LCA... Thats more like a primitive 4-link. Notice both sides have 2 control arms?

I wish SSM was still in business. They made a pretty nice set of traction bars that would eliminate the torque arm. Similar to the pictures above only the bars were located inward more and were attached to a crossmember placed inbetween the subframe. I know quite a few cars that hook VERY well with them.

lift bars

I have a set of the SSM bars on my car now. Can't wait to see how they work. I bought the bars, the 12 bolt rear w/ 3.73's and disc backing plates, and an aluminum drive shaft for $1500....gotta love THAT!!

I found it odd that they eliminated the torque arm....but after bolting them up, I now understand how they eliminate "roll" in the rearend.

Pretty cool.
