brake light stays on
A few days ago I released my parking break and the red light that is all the way to the right of the warning lights did not go out like it usually did. The parking break still works but a bit weaker then usual. What could be the problem and does that light indicate anything is wrong with my brakes besides the parking brake. The car stops the same as it did before. I have an 85 Z 28. Any help would be appreciated.

Transmission: powerglide,auto overdrive, th350,4L80
sounds to me like the e-brake cable is stretched or worn out you can try adjusting it and see if that helps
