for the IROC-Z steering box with the casting Z on it and the aluminum cover. and for the smartasses, no i cant hop in my car and turn the wheel teh steering box is not in it

 

If it is also stamped with 26000525, it should be 2.25 turns from lock to lock.

 

alright, im currently swapping over to the mustang power rack. they sell a stock replacement thats 2.25 turns but its 145 bux, the also have another thats 2.5 turns and thats onl 75 bux. id rather spend 75, just not sure if ill notice a big difference going from 2.25 to 2.5...

 

I don't know if you will. but I sure did. I went from stock GTA steering wheel (15") toa grant gt (13'') and i noticed a huge difference. I really had to adjust my driving style because it turns to much quicker. Its not exactly the same as changing steering boxes. But the effect it almost the same, to you, your still travelling less distance with your hands to do the same work. Also its a much stiffer feeling. I like having some resistance.
