Right wheel pointing out

My front right wheel is pointing out and the tire is worn out while the other 3 arent. Do i just need a wheel alignment or is there something else wrong that i can do to straighten it out? Thanks.

Sounds like you need a wheel alignment and new tires.

Hopefully all you need is an alignment. Usually alignments dont go out that bad unless something is bent or was left loose at the last alignment.

Well the wheel is noticeably pointing out and is noticeably more worn out then the others. Is there anthing i can visually inspect myself to tell if something is out of adjustment or needs replacement? I would like to fix the problem as best i could until i have the money to buy a new used tire and get it professionally aligned. Thanks.

Yes, just get under the car and look at all the steering linkages. It's basically a bunch of metal rods with ball joints at the ends linking them together. It sounds like something is messed up if you can clearly see one tire pointing in the wrong direction.

If some thing is broken you may still be able to adjust the tie rod so that the wheel is pointing somewhat straight.
