Z06 corvette brakes front and rear

ok ive done some searching and can only seem to find one article on the c5/z06 brake upgrade and it was for the front only. what im trying to do is the z06 upgrade on a 91 z28 with rear aluminum calipers. my questions are, are there any differences in the c5 and z06 rear rotors? if not will a c5/z06 rotor fit in my rear 1le calipers? i know i will have to fab brakets up to move the caliper out to make way for the larger rotor. and lastley will my bake lines work for this complete swap front and rear. if anyone has pics of rear z06 calipers on there f-body I WANNA SEE THEM! thanks for the help guys - TOT

i **believe** that c5 and ls1(98+) are the same 12" single piston caliper. i know that ls1 brakes will bolt right up with removal of the axle and installing the new backing plate. heres a pic of my ls1 rear

No the C5 or LS1 rear rotors won't work with your 1LE calipers, they're too thick and have the internal drum e-brake. The design is totally different. The C5 and LS1 rear caliper is the same but won't work with your 3rd gen setup. If you want those brakes back there, either swap rearends or install LS1 rear brakes.
