A few of us have been doing those kits for some time now, it's not something new.

Wow...those look great. If they were 13in rotors I would pick up a pair right now.

It is a little disapointing that someone is making money off a project that so many people on this board donated so much of their time to make happen.

Disappointing ? I see a new post all the time about someone asking where they can purchase the parts to do it cause they dont have access to the tools to do the modifications, or the time etc. Just cause people here have been working on doing it, doesnt mean someone else wasnt working on it at the same time, lots of people dont post the ideas of everything they are doing right when they do it. I see no wrong in it.

The one member who put alot of effort into making the C5 kit swap happen, sells the brackets. but he also put the effort into it. I'm sorry, i don't share your respect for someone who takes information and makes money off ot it. We all know it happens all the time, it is the nature of this world, that doesn't mean i am going to agree with it.

Then you need to look into the C4 HD brake upgrade, full 13" x 1.1" rotors. I feel they're just as effective as the LS1 and C5s and fit great inside stock 16" wheels.

About the other stuff, the same thing happened to the HMS mounts...they were copied since they weren't going to be made again. Posts were made, feelings expressed, and people got over it. It happens. I guess that's what patents are for.

My point wasnt that its ok for someone to use something someone else developed to resell for their own profit, simply that I know full well the one person who you seem to think of as the swaps miracle man, probably was not the only one working on it or who thought of it first, hell everyone got pissed at eric when todd finally got it to work and then eric came in and said "i've had that on my car for over a year" or something to that effect, everyone was mad at him for not sharing the info. I dont care what you think you came up with, chances are someone else is probably working on the same thing already.

You think those brakes are worth it? How much better are they over the stock front disks? I want to do something with my front brakes.

Sure the LS1 brakes are worth it. Any upgrade is better than our stock system. Lock is running them and says they're great. SO is Z28Doyle and a few others.

Hi Will. The LS1s have been around for a while and a few of us have a lot of experience with them:

sadly im not much of a fabricator. Ed, I hate to put you on the spot, but if you would be willing to help me with the more difficult parts, ie spindles and what not. Let me know. I know you are the brakes guru around here. And If I can get a LS1 setup like this gooing for fairly cheap I would really like to throw those on instead of rebuild fronts!
