A-Arm Bushing too long???
I'm doing a front end rebuild on an 82Z. I got an extra set of A Arms to get ready for the rebuild. I had the ball joints and poly bushings from Spohn pressed in. My question is the smaller bushings look like they are too long by about 1/4". Do they need to be cut to fit for different years??? I would like to get some info before I start to tear the other A arms off. Any tips would be great.

I installed the a arm bushings from Spohn about a month ago. They fit, correct size. They did require some persuasion by my poly, dead blow mallat!!! A few wacks on the arm while I held it up there and in she went. Put some grease in the sides of the bushings to help slide it home. I say, they should fit. My car is a 92 Z. I can't say if in 82 there was a difference, but I think not...

Yea those are a real PITA to get in. Took me a little while to get those bad boys in with a rubber mallet and some grease. Hope everything goes together better then it was for me.
