supension upgrades worth it?

what would it be worth in the 1/4

with the big rear sway bar like 24mm?? the ws6 ones
boxed lower control arms with aluminum bushings
lca brackets

will that stuff really make a big difference or am i wasting my time and need to go to ladder bar or something?

The big payoff items are LCA lowering brackets and better LCAs; and of course SFCs. After that, for track-only type use, air bags in the springs.

Don't screw around with "boxed" stock control arms.

yeah iam making another set from steel, and thats why i woudl be making aluminum bushings, haha, due to the fact i got no money ot buy poly's so ill jsut make them on my lathe

does this help suspension much either, raising your torque arm angle to 3 degrees?

Taking all of the deflection out of your suspension is not always a good idea.

I think spohn showed that anything past -2 degrees was useless in suspension. They recommend 0 for street use I believe, -1 for the track and -2 for track only. Least i think that is what I read. Something along the lines of no gains being shown going past -2.

really! i heard the more angle u runm the better traction u get, i played around wiht it and it changes your suspension by alot jsut by chaning the angle. i seen a ls1 camaro, all he did was lower control arms, and changed torque arm angle to 3 degrees and it brought him to a 1.7 60 ft time

to me, that is damn good but rememeber its a ls1

Changing the torque arm angle does not affect traction. All it does, is to set the pinion such that when power is applied, the angle (which always changes slightly) becomes as close to 0 as possible.

Don't believe everything you hear..... for instance, I heard once that the Earth is flat. Didn't make it so.

And in the case of the guy with the 1.7s, did he try any other pinion angle? How does he know that where he has it is optimum? How does he know that he might not shave .1 off of it by setting it correctly?
