Easy, off with the old, on with the new. You could measure the length the tie rods with the old sleeve, then install the new sleeve and adjust to you get that same length. But if its bent now, you'll still need an alignment.

I just replaced mine with solid aluminum sleeves. First i just measured the old ones, and replaced them the same. Or close to the same i adjusted the for a little more toe out, for better AutoX handiling. I used a homemade pickle fork to take off the ball joints.

how do these freakin tie rod adjuster sleeves adjust??????? i did some front suspension work and now one tie sticks out crooked compared to the other. i know if i could adjust the tie rods it would fix it until i could get it aligned but i can get the sleeves to move. is there a trick, i loosened the clamps that hold it in place but it still wont budge...im at a loss!

Some have ends you can put a wrench on. If not, you can stick a screwdriver in the slot and turn it (be careful not to distort it; if it doesn't turn easily, STOP).
Next time it will be easier to do it off of the car. Compare the length to the old one and just turn the tie rod end(s) till the length matches.
