quick question about tires

hey all; i was reading that the 1992 z28 convertable came with P235/55R16 tires from the factory. I have a set of rims off a 92 z28, and i was wondering if that size tires is any good. how do they perform with the car? i found some BF Goodrich Traction T/A tires at my base's BX for $72/tire. does anyone know if those are any good? I just want something with enough traction to get me around, while also being able to handle a little racing once in a great while thanks all

Why would you want to go with those? They are not as wide as a 245 or 255. Look at 245/50 or 255/50 tires like i said i your other post. And use the tire calculator i posted.

It doesn't really matter what size tires you run, it is just personal preference.

That size doesn't sound right.... should be 245/50-16. That's the size I'd recommend.
