check sway bars for straightness

I want to take swaybars from my crashed 92 formi and put them in my new 92 bird (I have the perf suspension package on formi therefore 36/24 sway bars) however I want to check first that the front sway bar was not harmed .. bent.. in the accident. How do I measure that ?
THanks

Take it off the car and lay it flat on the ground. Check to see that all 4 points that attach to the car (the 2 end link eyes and the two sections of the bar that are held by the bushings) all contact the ground evenly. If the bar is twisted, you will see it.
