Hotchkis SFC's or Spohn SFC's????
i kno alot of people are in love with spohn stuff, but shouldnt one use square sfc's to make a 'complete' chassis? the subframes are made square, why not put square sfc's in???

Spohn...one reason, they're lighter than square tubing. There's a difference of 26# between Spohn's old square tube design and the "new" round tubing design.
Do a search on "tubing" or "Spohn", there was a big thread a while back on the advantages of the round vs. square tube design and it was explained very well. I can't remember who started the thing tho...

Not to mention that the spohn peices are tacked in along the whole sub frame where as the Hotchkiss are only weled in two places. You cannot go wrong with either. You have to be really ni picky to prove that one set of SFC's are better than the next. They all do a marvelous job.
