New springs? struts?

When I hit dips at high speeds my car tends to scrape a tad (my exhaust is low). Is there something I can do to stop this besides slowing down? Is it more fault to my springs or my struts? Both need to be replaced- my springs are almost 130k old and the struts are over 30k. I have new struts but I'm afraid to deal with them, because everyone said they're a PITA.

Which brand of springs is stiff enough for me, that won't lower my car? I want some tough racing spring for a low price. What should I look at?

The fronts are a PITA because you are afraid that you are going to get smashed in the face by the spring. It sounds like you have worn springs as much as struts/shocks.

I'm on the hunt for some cheap stiffer springs, rather than the MOOG OEM replacements. Thanks anyway to MdFormula350 though. I was worried about lowering it (as Eibachs do 1") but people say as long as they're considerably stiffer it won't scrape. I'm still uncertain but I'd rather have a stiffer body and suspension than a mushy soft ride.

Who makes decent springs? How long do springs usually last?

I scraped about the same with the stock springs vs the sportlines. The again my ride height really didn't change because I went with a much bigger tire. My center of gravity did change however, which is always a good thing. I would look at BMR, the ProKit, or Hotchkis if you want sligth drop with a half way decent ride.
