Tires rubbing

I have 15" wheels with mastercraft 235/60/15's and when i turn sharp the tire rubs on the back of the wheel well...

How the hell would I ever fit 16's or 17's on there without clearance problems?

16 or 17 would be the diameter of your wheel, it doesn't have much to do with the overall size of the tire, which is what makes it rub or not.

I have 235/60R15s on my car with 1LE fronts and no problems with anything rubbing.

I'm clear but

I too have the 1LE Setup. I have no problems with my 16's -
BF Goodrich Comp TA 255/50/ZR16
The only problem I ever have is bouncing the tire off the upper wheel well - I'm lowered 1.75" in the front...

Hmmm, so are my tires just too big then?

I have the same problem too! Only my tires are 215/65R/15's. They were the tires from the rear that I put infront when I replaced the rear tires. They are the same size as the old ones, but now they rub. I DID get new wheel bearings and tie rods, if that makes any difference.

Thats funny, I replaced the rears on mine and put the new ones on the front, they never rubbed before i did that. Im gonna have to go check the size again to see if theres a difference.
