GR-2 vs Gas Adjust for the REAR

Before anyone says anything about doing a search i already did and came up with no answer to my question.now for my question...
im wondering why people are using GR-2 struts up front and Gas-Adjusts in the rear. is there any good reason for this? im looking to upgrade my currently 100k mile suspension with something a bit better. but the thing is im looking to sell the car hopefully before the end of fall, so i dont want to go and spend insane amounts of money on it. i do want it to handle decently though while i still have it, and handle decently for a potential buyer. i was looking on ebay and saw that there are GR-2 shock and strut packages for around $125, which is around what i was looking to spend. i also want to change the springs to Eibach Sportlines to give it a bit of a drop, enhancing the appearance a bit to entice a potential buyer that much more.
so basically what im asking is there any reason NOT to buy the GR-2's for all 4 corners? or will i be fine doing so instead of buying the Gas Adjusts. I would like the most optimal suspension using KYB pieces. Thanks!

GR2 are softer than Gaz-a-just.

Gaz-a-just makes for a stiffer suspension lauch wise

I was reffered to that combo, works well.

Also last I checked its the only combo you can do with Gas-A-Justs out back. KYB doesn't make GR2 struts, at least they didn't when I was looking for new shocks & struts.

Actually he got it backwards; they only make a GR-2 strut for the front. There's no Gas-A-Just for the front.

Now they do make a GR-2 shock for the rear. I installed Gas-A-Just in the rear because they were a couple bux more; I figured it was the better shock. I think Summit Racing wanted $13 for a gr-2 rear shock, but $19 for a gas-a-just shock- it was a close price difference, so I went with the $19 ones.

So you could do gr-2 all around, but you can only put a gas-a-just in the back.

KYB also makes those AGX adjustable struts & shocks for our cars; but I figured with the crappy roads by me, it'd be a waste of coin.

Yeah the first part of my post, I had that right. Mental hiccup on the second part.

Actually I didn't know that you could even mix the two until the guy at Arch Auto Parts told me they do it all the time. I heard mixing the two could lead to nasty results. Fortunately its not true.

Damn, ya know, I never even considered if it would've caused a driveability/control problem! Haha, well, I'm glad it didn't!

Yeah, I did my research when I read that GR2 was "smooth" ride/less handling and Gas-A-Just was firm/better handling. What I read was that one could lose control of the car if a turn was taken too hard. Wish I could find that article again to post it.

I'm thinking however there might not be enough of a difference from the GR2 and GAJ that this problem comes into play.
