stock suspension question
stock suspension question
Does anyone know or recommend at what mileage should the stock suspension be replaced? My car handles fine and rides well. Doesn't sag in the front or rear. For all I know maybe it already has been replaced at one time, but it looks original.

Depends on what you want out of the car I guess. If you mean just restore it to stock specs it depends on how hard the car has been driven and been taken care of. If the struts or shocks are heavily rusted or letting the car'bounce' then its definitly time to replace.

since it doesnt sag, your springs are good. to tell if struts/shocks are good, jounce the car at that corner and see how many times it takes for the car to settle, more then a couple and you need new struts/shocks. take a look at the bushings, are they cracked and crumbly? if so, they need to be replaced
