big problem!what to do?please
sup guys i got an issue that could only happen to me lol. anyway a couple days ago i started hearing noises comming from around the driver rear tire area. it would make a nasty noise and u just know something is broke or loose. anyway i put her on the hoist and the driver rear shock would move around. so we took it off and that hole on the top of your wheel well that the shock fits looks like it was pulled out
so the hole it huge and shock cant fit in it. funny thing is that there is no rust at all and was pulled out not pushed through. anyway does anyone know what i gotta do to fix this?? im driveing around with a missing shoke so i gotta fix it ASAP.
thanks

Bring it to a body shop and have them pound the hole back in place then have them weld two big washers over the hole, one on each side. Have it done to both. This will help distribute the force of the shocks out over a bigger area.

Yup, happens all the time. Especially when people either keep really good shocks on their car (which puts the design load on that spot with no relief), or try to jack the rear up with air shocks (which puts loads far in excess of design on that sheet metal). Weak or worn-out shocks kind of give that metal a break.
It's just not a very smart design on the part of the factory.
Mine punched out with about 325,000 miles on the chassis. What a flimsy POS. It was just getting broken in good.
I had the washer thing done to it, fixed it right up. The guy that did it told me he had used to have one of these cars; his did it too.
